Emir Hasham
Senior VFX Artist

Emir graduated in Chemical Engineering but found his true vocation after volunteering to shoot and edit training videos for the chemicals company he worked for.  Having already taken vocational courses in photography, design and graphics, Emir began working in television as a junior graphics operator, moving on to BSkyB as a Broadcast Designer, designing title sequences and promotions for their five channels.  He moved into the commercials world and spent five years at VTR as a Flame/Inferno Artist, with a particular flair for graphics and animation.  Emir joined the Rushes VFX team in early 2002 and has built a formidable reputation within the genre of graphics in particular.  Outside work Emir travels widely and is currently experimenting with old Russian cameras, mountain bikes, and tending the subtropical microclimate cultivated on his balcony.
