About VFX

Rushes VFX department, headed up by Paul Hannaford, is currently undergoing a massive multi-million pound investment which will see us expanding our VFX capacity to 10, multi-purpose, fully HD-capable suites.

The suites will include a mix of the most cutting-edge visual effects and CG tools including Flame 2K running on Linux, Smoke, Combustion, Maya and Shake. This creates numerous advantages for Rushes including greater communication and workflow between suites, improved turnaround on large projects and increased efficiency, all of which means that Rushes can offer the best service possible in one of the most state of the art facilities in the world.

Our award winning team of visual effects artists are on hand to help with all stages of the production process, from conceptual work to shoot supervision, as well as managing the projects through the department to completion.

The combination of the new suites coupled with the creativity and expertise of our team, makes Rushes not only one of the most creative facilities in the world, but also one of the most technically advanced.
