Rushes had the pleasure of working again with Partizan director Henry Scholfield, to undertake colour grading and visual effects on his new video for Wretch 32 feat. Jacob Banks, titled “Doing OK”.
The video is set in a bustling South African market scene, where a down-and-out guy meets a little girl who helps him see the world in a different light.
Rushes colourists Simone Grattarola and Simona Harrison injected warmth into the piece with a stunning grade. The visual effects challenge was to evoke a slightly surreal, magical feeling and this was achieved with a combination of techniques in After Effects and Nuke. Led by Barry Corcoran from Rushes MGFX Studio.
