Annex films’ David Baksh was asked by agency MWO to create a series of films to launch DIY brand Wickes' new #ProjectPossible campaign. Spanning Snowdonia, The Farne Islands, Southern California and Hackney, Award-winning short film and documentary director David Baksh follows the lives of inspiring individuals using everyday Wickes products in the pursuit of their extraordinary passions. The campaign aims to inspire people to get creative and share stories and photos of their own #ProjectPossible for the chance to win £100 worth of Wickes vouchers.

The film above, ‘Sealant’, features British marine & coastal ecologist Maya Plass as she prepares for a very special dive to observe the seal colonies of the Farne Islands, off the windswept Northumberland coast. With the help of a tube of Wickes' sealant, Maya's home-hacked, DIY underwater camera housing takes everything the North Sea throws at it and captures some breathtaking film of these beautiful creatures at their playful best.

See all the films in the series here (40sec & mini-doc).
