Director Richard Curtis and BBH's Sir John Hegarty are behind the "first ever global cinema campaign." This impressive & important campaign aims to make the UN's newly agreed Global Goals famous. Realised through the world class animation of Aardman, Rushes are incredibly proud to have contributed to the post, including grade by Denny Cooper.
Project Everyone has launched its multi-platform campaign targeting poverty and injustice.
The campaign launched on Friday the 25th September to coincide with 193 world leaders at the United Nations committing to a series of ambitious targets to fight inequality and injustice, end extreme poverty, and tackle climate change for everyone by 2030. 17 Global Goals were agreed to achieve these three extraordinary things in the next 15 years. If the goals are met, they ensure the health, safety and future of the planet for everyone on it. And their best chance of being met is if everyone on the planet is aware of them.
So the simple but mighty ambition of Project Everyone - is to share the global goals with everyone. Since its initial announcement in June, the campaign has had non-stop public attention – using different mediums and enlisting the help of seriously high-profile celebrities, creatives and anti-poverty organisation Global Citizen to get the message out.
Director Richard Curtis and BBH's Sir John Hegarty are behind the "first ever global cinema campaign," which will be seen worldwide on 140,000 outdoor screens, as well as in cinemas in 30 countries. The aim is that it will reach seven billion people in seven days.
Hegarty himself art directed the spot, featuring world class animation from Aardman. With the help of sister company Deluxe Media, Rushes were proud to contribute towards the end of the process, providing colour grading, setting front and end titles, and subtitling services for 20 different language versions.
