Rushes Denny Cooper adds a moody and delegate grade to Pulse director Sam Pilling’s haunting promo for Nashville singer/songwriter Mikky Ekko’s Pull Me Down.
The dark visuals of the video give the single the elevated context that it deserves. In it we find a haunted Ekko wandering a trashed apartment that shows the remnants of love-turned-war, chasing the spectre of his lover who never stays more than a moment or two. Eventually we see that Mikky himself is at risk of disappearing, as well as his relationship.
This promo is sure to be the start of a big year for Mikky Ekko (who you may recognise from recently featuring on Rihanna's hit single 'Stay'), as his debut album is set for release later this year.
