Shot in Lisbon and New York, Rushes collaborated with directors Marco and Jose to establish the different locations with nuanced looks and without anything jarring. A warmer more intimate tone was taken for Portugal, the character of the friend alone in New York had a cooler more isolated feel. Overall we kept skin tones warm and blacks soft making sure to keep detail in highlights to give a subtly filmic feel to everything.
