Gillette has marked the launch Gillette Club, an e-subscription initiative that sees blades regularly shipped to men, with a mafia-themed add calling on 'wise guys' to join in on an offer so good, it should probably be illegal.

Some of the most iconic films in movie history feature the underground world of Italian gangsters. Nice Shirt Films director Kai Schonrath takes inspiration from these in an ad that sees a brave kid pitch a deal to The Don.

Created by Grey, the minute-long spot injects humour into the situation as the purpose of the transaction is perhaps not what you'd expect. Set in the basement of a barbershop in New York’s Little Italy, the TV spot depicts a confident, smooth-shaven and leather-jacketed young man visiting a Don type figure to tip him off about a "big shipment coming in" of "some world class steel, going at a killer price."

Remember, if it's good enough for The Don, then it's good enough for you.
