Rushes Denny Cooper grades stunning looking new commercial campaign for online fashion retailer ASOS. The global Christmas campaign will feature three separate videos, launched with a spot featuring supermodel Charlotte Free, with Ellie Goulding and Azealia Banks spots following on, each showcasing the brand’s new Christmas collection in their own individual way.
ASOS wanted a highly engaging, content driven campaign, they turned to Future Collective. Future Collective is a new nimble breed of content marketing partner that marries the services of creative advertising agencies and hi-end production companies. For ASOS they set out to create a cross-genre strategy of marrying fashion film styling with music video direction. They brought in ‘face-to-watch’ director Luke Monaghan to helm all three films. Luke has previously directed music promos for Wretch 32 and Ed Sheeran, and a Channel 4 documentary about A$AP Rocky.
The result is a collection of edgy and glossy films. The series also allows consumers to interactively shop the girl’s looks straight from the video, see what makes their #BestNightEver and find inspiration to make your party season amazing.
