Aquilo - Silhouette Trilogy

Director Eoin Glaister and alternative musical duo Aquilo strike up a creative collaboration, as Glaister delivers a trilogy of Music videos for their debut album ‘Silhouettes’, graded by Rushes Marty McMullan.

The three videos follow the inter-connected lives of three characters as a narrative whole. Together they tell an overarching story of Courtney, a talented ice skater with aspirations to compete at the highest level, her supportive father (played by one the UK's great character actors, Perry Benson) and her well-meaning but distracting boyfriend. Each video uses the perspective of these characters to create the bigger picture with Marty McMullan's grade adding to the cinematic storytelling, resulting in a beautifully observed portrait of everyday English life.
