The Corner London has created this great ad for a new series of shows to air on the National Geographic Channel, which revisit everything 80s from shoulder pads, big hair and massive mobile phones to the rise of hip-hop and Michael Jackson's Moonwalk.
The two series; The ’80s. The Decade That Made Us and ’80s Greatest, will offer an inside look at the political, technological, cultural and social revolution that created our modern world and the commercial, which uses the iconic handheld puzzle game Rubik's Cube as a storytelling device, was produced by Partizan. Rushes colourist Simone Grattarola completed the grade and Rushes VFX artists Matt Jackson and Jonny Hicks assisted the Partizan in house team to replace the Rubik’s cube faces where logo’s footage and replacement graphics were tracked to the cube and hands and fingers restored to complete a seamless action.
