Jessie J’s latest track ranges from the subdued to high energy dance with Emil’s promo accentuating  the shift with frenetic lighting effects, distorted flaring and lasers to punctuate the tracks musical cues and heightened energy. 

 

The promo was edited by James Rose at Cut and Run and graded at Rushes from Arri Alexa by colourist Simone Grattarola using Da Vinci Resolve. VFX artist Glenn Cone developed a number of light effects through early tests on the footage and upon edit approval started layering these into the promo. Motion Graphics artist Barry Corcoran from Rushes MGFX Studio created two digital matte paintings that start the promo, placing Jessie in a neon lit urban exterior.
