Showing the insight behind some of the biggest trends of our time, six online films (between 60 – 90 secs each) have been directed by Henry Schofield at Partizan.
The films explain through pranks how music download, video games, mobile vibrate, texting and free running came about through party stunts. The first of the six is Planking. No one truly knows where or when Planking began. There are various claims dating back to 1994 but legend has it, it was much earlier than that. It was 150 years ago, in 1862 at a Bacardi party.
The films were graded by Simone Grattarola with Jonnny Hicks completing the online work and compositing. The CG photorealistic beetle in Vibrate was designed, modelled, animated by Chris Hutchison and Andy Hargreaves in Rushes CGI commercials department
