Art Director: Point Blank
Production Company: Partizan

This risqué commercial is effective, although simple and very humorous.
It is all in black and white. At intervals the following statements flash up on the screen:
Do not smoke in the cinema.
Do not use your mobile phone.
Do not paint-ball while naked.
Do not staple your ear to a mantelpiece, and the final one reads
Do not nail your cock to a piece of wood!!

While these appear on screen, strange noises and phrases are heard in the background. Along the lines of “Agh let go!” “ I saw you do it” etc

Rushes producer Vittorio Giannini, adds: “ When Partizan and Point Blank approached us to do this we immediately suggested doing this project in HD resolution which is 6 times the size of standard pal or video resolution - That's 1920 x 1080 pixels as opposed to 720 x 576 pixels. The principal reason we suggested this route is that the project is essentially graphics based and therefore when viewed large scale, the elements will appear much sharper due to the higher resolution.

The clients came in with some drawn images, which we scanned in at high resolution. Matt Jackson, our Inferno operator, took these images and along with the creatives built the commercial based on a guide track. Matt created mattes to alter the colours of the graphics and added Monty Python style animation to some of the images. To give the commercial more of a raw feel Matt added some film weave from his library of sparks in inferno. The HD size images were then transferred directly onto high-resolution tape, which was then sent to be film out onto 35mm print. Matt also down res'd the images to create video versions. The clients were extremely impressed that the commercial was finished in one day, considering we were working in HD resolution.”
