Rushes have
just completed two 30-second Clarks spots for another great St Luke’s
campaign. These two films, by Dougal Wilson (CADS director of the
year), are full of youthful personality and highlight the new range
of functional kid’s shoes that are suitable for every activity.
The first spot
portrays a young girl who is deep in concentration. The girl is
manoeuvring a hula-hoop with great skill. She manages to dance across
the room, flick the TV remote and water the plants, all whilst still
hula-hooping.
The second
spot sees a wannabe Frank Lampard attempting various kicks and tricks
in his back garden with little success. After numerous falls, failed
headers, fumbled footwork, and a nettle sting our little friend
is still undeterred.
Matt Jackson
from Rushes says "These two commercials were great fun to work
on. We onlined in Fire, combining print and neg passes to create
the look. Packshot animations were designed using green screen
elements and graphics". The commercials were brought
to life with the addition of music tracks from classic acts Blamange
"Living on the ceiling" and The Undertones.” My
Cousin Kevin"
