Rushes complete a very Cheeky promo

12th Nov 2003: Dressed in matching gold hot pants and festive Father Christmas jackets the new Cheeky Girls promo promises to warm everyone’s heart. Directed by Urban Strom at Flynn, this cheeky little promo is bursting with Yuletide cheer and fun.

The promo opens on a shot of a log cabin, set into a snowy landscape and surrounded by frosted trees. Inside the lodge, we find Monica and Gabriela busy decorating their huge Christmas tree. The girls perform a dance routine with sharp and sassy new dance moves before a huge crackling open fire.

We cut away to an outdoor shot of the girls running around and having fun in the snow. Where they build a huge snowman, with whom they perform another festive dance routine. Back inside the lodge we see them giving gifts to their friends and tearing open ribbon-bound packages to reveal two new pairs of their trademark spangly hot-pants.

The party moves into full swing around the girls as they encourage their guests to pick up their infectious dance and as the routine comes to a close, so does the Christmas promo.

Retro effects and compositing complement the tongue-in-cheek styling of the promo, featuring the Transylvanian girls frolicking in the snow with their chums.
