Cannes 2004 at the Rushes Villa

Cannes 2004 must go down as one of the best festivals of recent years.  With the attendance up and awards made in abundance, the bonhomie and good vibes were experienced by everyone at the festival. Rushes traditional evening dinner parties and Friday afternoon pool party were the events to be seen at, serving great food and with the wine flowing, all in a classic Cannes villa location with spectacular views across the bay.  Not even the England football team going out of Euro 2004 to the Portuguese on Thursday night could dampen the party spirit for long, with the incredible sunset on the Rushes terrace providing the perfect backdrop for watching what was a really exciting game.

The international attendance at the Rushes villa confirmed the coming of age of global advertising and reinforced the role of Cannes as the best and most meaningful international event in the advertising calendar.  We'd like to thank all the guests who attended our parties and made Cannes 2004 a very special time for everyone at Rushes.  We hope to see everyone again next year, and wish all the 2004 winners our heartiest congratulations, and the contenders our commiserations and best of luck next year.
