These quirky and highly amusing menswear commercials, feature men
in great clothes from the Brother’s current range trying to
prove who is the most macho. They are completely unforgettable.
‘Beer’ - Three stylishly dressed guys lounge around
on a boy’s night in watching TV. They knock back a few beers
and compete with each other to see who is the cleverest at opening
their bottle of beer. One of them discovers the ultimate technique.
He twists the bottle in his eye socket. Ouch!
‘Parsley’
Four sophisticated men are bonding over a meal out, chatting and
laughing. When their food arrives silence falls across the table
and they look totally astonished. We realise what the problem is
when all of them in sync, disdainfully deposit the parsley garnish
on their side plate. Relieved of the parsley, they perk up again.
‘Kitchen’
There are two casually dressed guys in a kitchen, one is cooking,
spagetthi. A massive boiling pot is lifted off the hob. One of the
men makes his hands into a colander, whilst the other pours the
spagetthi through them. It goes everywhere, but they just look at
one another and shrug!
Says Rushes Inferno Artist,
Claire Pollock “In order for the spaghetti to appear hot,
steam was pumped into the saucepan through a hose. The hose was
visible in several shots. To remove it we used a combination of
techniques, which included painting over it frame-by-frame. This
worked perfectly and gave it a seamless finish.”
