Rushes
award nominations keep on coming in 2003
The Advertising
Producers Association and the British Academy of Film and Television
have launched the APA Show 2003. At the heart of this event is the
APA 50 - the definitive collection of this year’s 50
best commercials made by British production companies and advertising
agencies judged by a roll-call of advertising luminaries.
Last night
(Thursday September 18th) the APA announced the years’ top
commercials created by the cream of British advertising at their
annual awards evening at the Victoria and Albert Museum, honouring
the shining lights within the industry including the following spots:
Brylcreem - ‘Bad Barnet’, MFI - ‘Bedroom/Bob
& Vic’ and Virgin Mobiles ‘Run Wyclef Run’
all with post production by Rushes.
Rushes have
also been nominated at this year’s BTA Craft Awards. After
winning ‘Best Colourist’ at this years CADS, Director
of Telecine Adrian Seery, has been nominated in the ‘colourist’
category for Virgin Mobiles ‘Run Wyclef Run’. Winners
will be announced on the 3rd of November at the Royal Lancaster
Hotel.
