About
Rocket
Design. Delivery.
Support.
Rocket is Rushes’
multimedia department. We are fully equipped to provide creative
design, digital delivery, and suite support services.
Our graphic
services range from preparing supplied artwork to completely generating
in-screen graphics. Rocket has the necessary expertise with various
file formats, including graphics supplied from print environments.
Being able to prepare these graphics for a broadcast environment
ensures that they are as flexible as possible when implemented within
the online suite, maximising time spent editing.
In addition
to converting and transferring artwork, Rocket has worked on creating
original still graphics for UPS, Zoot Woman, and Abs. We have also
begun to emerge as an important animation resource with work like
Nokia’s sponsorship idents for Channel 4's Fashion House,
created primarily in Rocket. Our design capabilities extend to DVD
and CD-Rom menus and authoring.
Rocket enables
clients to quickly transmit finished work or works in progress to
locations all over the world. Offering services such as Telestream,
on-line approval, FTP, and encoding for email, we provide the option
of circumventing tape delivery to approve edits. Online approval
and electronic delivery have become increasingly popular and Rocket
has been at the forefront of development and implementation of these
services for Rushes’ clients. Telestream allows us to transmit
broadcast or approval quality material to locations all over the
world. Advertising via “viral emails” is becoming increasingly
important and Rocket has the experience necessary to create the
right kind of files, through campaigns such as Virgin Mobile “Red”
and “Free Airtime.”
As a relatively
new area, electronic delivery can seem complicated or technical.
In fact it is as simple as accessing your favourite website or reading
an email. As these services expand and their use becomes more widely
accepted, more people are finding that they can use electronic delivery
within their local area as well as for global delivery. This minimises
the delays of a traditional delivery, and rapid delivery ensures
a more effective use of time spent producing and creating.
